Rachel has a Fine Arts degree from McMaster University and wrote her thesis on Color Affect Theory (an exploration of the way that colors make us feel) and her function as an artist plays a huge part in her approach to style. Being a wife and mother to her sweet little girl has transformed her perspective on what it means to be a woman in transition, and the part that style plays in the journey back to yourself.
In 2024, I want to prioritize challenging our current mindsets about the mindsets we hold about ourselves that are holding us back, focusing on value-based dressing, quality over quantity, and creating the space to romanticize your day-to-day.
Rachel is an abstract acrylic painter and arts educator living and working in her hometown of Hamilton, ON. She graduated from McMaster University’s School of the Arts, where she acquired an Honours BA in Studio Art and Art History, and completed an undergraduate thesis in colour and affect theory.
